Who We Are

Our Mission

The mission of the Tall Trees Foundation is to provide support through grants to the valued employees and staff of Palo Alto Hills Golf & Country Club during times of unexpected financial hardship.

History

The Tall Trees Foundation (TTF) was established in 2020, inspired by a sense of stewardship and care for the employees of Palo Alto Hills Golf & Country Club (PAHGCC). The high cost of living in the Bay Area, compounded by the economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, highlighted the need for additional support for our dedicated staff. Recognizing this need, two club members proposed the creation of a nonprofit foundation to support our employees. This idea was presented to the PAHGCC Board in December 2020, and with their blessing and support, a working committee was formed to explore the foundation's formation.

In April 2021, the Tall Trees Foundation was officially established. The initial working committee served as the foundation’s founding Board of Directors. TTF is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, charitable organization, independent of PAHGCC, and governed by its own board. Through a cooperation agreement, TTF and PAHGCC collaborate to serve and support the employees of PAHGCC.
